Film: What We Did On Our Holiday, Reepham Town Hall, 14 February

We have been showing films at Reepham Town Hall for a few months now while our new Village Hall is being built and hope to do so up to May. On the whole it has gone very well with a great attendance from people in Reepham and a few little technical problems which we hope to have now mastered!! (Famous last words).

On Valentines Day - this Saturday (don't forget the flowers for your loved ones), we are showing What We Did On Our Holiday (12A).

Quartet (12A) 13th April Bawdeswell Village Cinema

Our next film in the Village Hall is QUARTET 13th April 7:00 for 7:30 start.

A really great British comedy cast, (Maggie Smith, Tom Courtenay, Billy Connolly, Pauline Collins and Michael Gambon) this is the kind of comedy that only the British can do. This is a first major Director role for Dustin Hoffman.

Based in a home for the mature, it has great fun with the problems of getting on in years interlinked with ‘Oh God, not you’ statements of ‘friends’ meeting again after many years.

Through The Screen with Bawdeswell Village Cinema

We had great attendance for ARGO last week. This OSCAR and BAFTA winning film didn't disapoint. On 13th April we have QUARTET, it will be a 'hoot'. A really great time with Maggie Smith, Billy Connolly et al and Verdi in a home for the mature.

The Sprockets have just voted on our next season which includes, Lincoln, Hitchcock, The Sapphires and Hyde Park On The Hudson. Watch this space for further details. So come and join us, you will receive a warm welcome.

ARGO - Saturday 9th March - Bawdeswell Village Cinema

Bawdeswell Village Cinema is showing the OSCAR and BAFTA award winning film Argo on Saturday 9th March at 7:00 for 7:30 in Bawdeswell Village Hall.

This is true story based on the covert operation to get 6 Americans out of Iran during the Iran - Iraq war. It recently won 3 OSCARS for BEST FILM, BEST FILM EDITING (William Goldenberg), WRITING - Adaptive Screenplay (Chris Terrio) and 3 BAFTAs - BEST FILM, BEST DIRECTOR (Ben Affleck), BEST FILM EDITING (William Goldenberg). So not to be missed.
