Quilt to be raffled in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support

Members of local craft group Busy Fingers have been busy since January designing and sewing a beautiful and unique quilt to be raffled in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

The Busy Fingers craft group have designed and sewn a unique quilt to be raffled in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support

The quilt comprises 35 twelve-inch squares, each one decorated with appliqued flowers or butterflies, all of which have been designed and stitched by hand.

The squares were sewn together and attached to wadding and a back sheet. An edge was then attached to make the quilt neat and secure.

It is now being raffled (£1 a ticket), which will be drawn at the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support to be held in St Michael’s, Reepham, on Friday 26 September from 9.30 am – 12 noon.

Tickets are available from members of Busy Fingers living in Reepham and Cawston. Please contact Brenda Palmer on 01603 871641 or Rosina Harman on 01603 871974.

The group hopes to raise at least £150 for Macmillan Cancer Support, so please buy your tickets before 26 September or at the coffee morning and support this worthy cause.
