Name that street – your suggestions for Old Brewery Lane
Broadland District Council is proposing to rename the two sections of Old Brewery Lane, Reepham, which is divided by a pedestrianised walkway with no vehicular access between the two discrete parts.
The Council has imaginatively suggested the road be renamed “Old Brewery Lane East” and “Old Brewery Lane West”.
Residents of the street have been notified by letter and Broadland said it would welcome any suggestions for naming the road, which is especially important in case of an emergency, explained a Council spokesperson.
