Beer festival will feature 26 real ales

Following the success of last year’s event, Reepham’s Panther Brewery is organising the second annual Reepham Beer Festival from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 August.

The beer festival will again be held at Stimpson’s Piece, Bartle Court, Reepham, and all profits will go towards helping and rejuvenating this community asset and giving back to the community that has supported the brewery over the past five years.

“As to the most important feature, the beer, we have taken on consumer feedback and we will be running a continental bar, consisting of German and Belgian beers,” explained head brewer Martin James. “These will be served alongside local ales, local ciders, and speciality ales from outside the county, never forgetting our multi-award winning Panther Ales.”

In total there will be 26 different real ales, not including the continental bar.

This year’s festival will feature headline acts The Vagaband, Rock Garden and The Doohickies, as well as blues duo Dove and Boweevil, singer-songwriter Adam Meek, folk trio Wolfswood and many more.

There will also be exhibits and games run by local clubs, as well as bar games. The beer, music and entertainment will be the perfect accompaniment to local stalls selling Caribbean food, wood-fired pizzas and ice cream.

Camping is available on site. A camping pass can be purchased in addition to a day ticket (£3 in advance) or weekend ticket (£5 in advance); day tickets also £5 on the door.

Beer festival tickets can be purchased from the Panther Brewery Shop, Unit1, Collers Way, Reepham, or from Meloncaulie Rose and Very Nice Things in the Market Place, Reepham.
