Help complete the world’s biggest jigsaw for charity

An entertainer from Reepham is looking for patient people to help him complete the world’s biggest jigsaw puzzle over six days in August.

Part of "Wildlife", the world’s largest jigsaw puzzle

Called “Wildlife”, the jigsaw has a staggering 33,600 pieces and measures 5.7 m wide by 1.5 m high.

Graham Andrew of Funforce, Cawston Road, hopes to complete the puzzle at Stimpson’s Piece pavilion, Reepham, between Sunday 14 and Friday 19 August.

The finished jungle scene will be donated to and displayed at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital, where Mr Andrew works as a “giggle doctor”, offering comic relief to young patients awaiting treatments and operations.

He is putting together a team of 40 people working in four-hour shifts from 10 am to 10 pm over the six days of the “Big Jig Gig”, with the possibility of working through the night if more time is required.

He is also looking for help with sponsorship to help fund the project, including buying the jigsaw puzzle, constructing a portable display unit to exhibit the completed jigsaw in, purchasing an electronic book to show the project story, advertising, and buying provisions/refreshments for the assembly team and visitors.

A piece of the jigsaw puzzle can be sponsored for £1 HERE

Profits from the project will be split between Reepham Nursery School and the Aylsham-based Holding Hands with our Courageous Children charity.
