Despite a few showers arriving early afternoon, brisk business was done, with some stallholders selling their stock by the middle of the day; several have already emailed to reserve a pitch for next year!
Reepham WI arranged a series of cookery demonstrations, where visitors gathered to see techniques including pasta-making and cake decoration, while Andrew Jones from the Dial House showed how to make lobster the centre of a stylish fruits de mer.
Reepham High School science ambassadors conducted hands-on experiments for young people, while the students who look after the allotment conducted visitors around their plots. Prizes were also awarded for the Junior Masterchef competition held at the high school on 10 May.
The festival closed with a buffet supper in the Town Hall using produce from stallholders, with a bar from Panther Brewery. Guests were entertained by some amazing musical talents from students at Reepham High School.
