Third AGM for North Norfolk Clinical Commissioning Group

NHS North Norfolk Clinical Commissioning Group will hold its third Annual General Meeting and Stakeholder Conference in Aylsham on Tuesday 13 September.

Reepham Surgery is one of the 19 GP Practices in North Norfolk and rural Broadland that is a member of the NHS North Norfolk Clinical Commissioning Group

At the event staff, members, stakeholders and local people will be able to hear about the work of the CCG over the past year and the challenges ahead.

The North Norfolk CCG is a local membership organisation led by family doctors that is responsible for planning and paying for healthcare services. Formed in 2012, it comprises 19 GP practices in North Norfolk and rural Broadland, including the Reepham & Aylsham Medical Practice.

After reports from members of the CCG’s governing body, there will be a chance to discuss and provide feedback on a variety of issues facing health and care in North Norfolk in 2016/17.

The key topics for discussion will include out-of-hospital services in North Norfolk and rural Broadland, the role of volunteers in health and social prescribing, whereby patients are referred to non-clinical services provided by voluntary organisations or community sector.

North Norfolk CCG’s Annual Report and Accounts for 2015-2016 will be formally presented at the meeting (this document can be found on the CCG’s website).

The event takes place at the Aylsham Care Trust Centre in St Michael’s Avenue from 10 am – 1 pm. Refreshments will be available from 9.30 am and a light lunch will be provided.

As there is limited parking available at the venue, people are advised to use the car park in Donthorn Court, which can be reached by taking the first right after turning into St Michael’s Avenue. From here it is a three-minute walk to the Aylsham Care Trust Centre.
