Reepham Town Council co-opted Julia “Jools” Line (pictured) as a new councillor at its meeting on 12 July.
Mrs Line was previously a parish councillor at Acle, before moving to Reepham in May. “I like doing this,” she told Reepham Life.
A widow, Mrs Line runs her own needlework design business, Long Dog Samplers.
Reepham now has eight town councillors: Les Paterson (chairman), Marion Korman, Jools Line, Janet Pender-Cudlip, Michael Pender-Cudlip, Michael Pinchin, John Rawlinson and Anne Woollett. A full complement would number 12 councillors.
