Community market garden announces winners of first 100 Club prize draw

Eves Hill Veg Co, the community market garden based in Booton, has announced the winners of its first 100 Club prize draw.

The 100 Club was set up to raise funds to run what is believed to be the only productive horticulture apprenticeship in Norfolk.

The 2018 apprenticeship was awarded to 21-year-old Izzy Filby of Cawston, who started in April and has been flourishing in her first paid work opportunity.

She has also completed her Level 2 horticulture alongside her apprenticeship at the Escape Community Gardening Project in Swaffham.

The 100 Club is a minimum of £5 a month commitment. Eves Hill Veg Co is looking for a further 20 members to complete its fundraiser for this year.

Prize draws are drawn quarterly; the next draw will take place at the next open day on Saturday 29 September at 11 am.
