Cawston playing field gates stolen

The commemorative gates at either end of the playing field in Cawston have been removed from their posts and stolen. The incident took place over the weekend of 20-22 December.

The village playing field, which was opened in 2008, is situated on land given to the village in 1998 by a local family, the Oakes. The gates were installed by the Parish Council as part of Cawston’s Jubilee celebrations in 2012.

Police are appealing for further information regarding these gates. Please contact the policing team via telephone on non-emergency number 101 or email sntreepham@norfolk.pnn.police.uk
