Treasure Quest comes to Whitwell Station

There was much excitement at Whitwell & Reepham Station yesterday, where BBC Radio Norfolk’s popular Treasure Quest programme ended up.

The treasure was discovered by presenter Kirsteen Thorne in the cab of a John Deere tractor parked at the station.

The final clue read: “It sounds like you have what you sow, and one would be at the end. Another of the golden type, find a goodbye letter gone backwards.”

The treasure hunt finale coincided with the Reepham Sport Relief Mile, where around 90 runners braved the chilly wind; the event was organised by Reepham Young Farmers Club.
