Cawston Road north of Reepham will close between 9 am and 3.30 pm from Monday 17 October for five days, weather permitting, for resurfacing works.
 
The B1145 road will be closed from the Salle electrical substation to Commonside, Salle. A signed diversion will be in place.

Reepham Town Council is looking for suggestions for where to plant a tree to commemorate the late HM Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.
 
The council has around £250 that it received from the town’s Platinum Jubilee event in June to plant a commemorative tree in the parish and wants residents to come forward with ideas for possible sites.
 
The type of tree selected will be dependent on the eventual planting location.
 

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a burglary in Weston Longville.
 
On Thursday 15 September, between 1 pm and 4 pm, offenders entered a property on Church Street through an insecure window.
 
They searched the property and cash and jewellery were taken.
 
Officers would be interested to hear from any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of Church Street between 1 pm and 4 pm.
