We had a good response from new players on Sunday 23 April with a great deal of interest shown. If you missed it, we are meeting again this Sunday (30 April) at 10.30 am and you are more than welcome to come and give it a try. All you need is a flat pair of shoes.
 
And a big thank you to Reepham Home Hardware for their kind donation to the bowls club. Their support both now and in the past is greatly appreciated.
 

We are having an open day on Sunday 23 April and all new players or those who are experienced and would like to take it up again are welcome to join us.
 
The day commences at 10.30 am, but if that is to early for you, come along any time up to 2 pm. There is no commitment to join, but it will give you a chance to see if it suits you.
 

The new bowls season is coming up fast and we are always interested in welcoming new members to the club.
 
Contrary to popular belief, you do not have to be a pensioner; in fact we have a fairly good range of age groups. Mind you, pensioners are more than welcome as well.
 
Our opening day will be in April (date to be confirmed), but if you would like to register an interest, please let me know. You can come along for a roll-up before making a decision about joining.
 

Well, we couldn't have asked for a better start to the season. The weather has certainly improved and we have signed up 10 new members with another four likely to join. We have purchased some new equipment, which was vital for the club through the kind donations we have received. I have mentioned these in earlier blogs, but once again thank you to you all.
 
On that note we are now desperate to purchase a new scarifier for the green, so if anybody can assist with a donation to go towards it, it would be greatly appreciated.
 

Well the new season starts soon and we are raring to go. The opening day is the 20th April at 2.30pm and anybody is welcome to come along if they wish to have a chat with the club members and maybe even have a roll-up (weather permitting). We will also have  our first roll-up on Thursday 25th April at 6.30pm and once again you are all welcome to come along to give it a try. (Once again weather permitting).
