The Co-op will join a number of new sponsors supporting the 2020 event, which will be held from 10 am – 4 pm on Sunday 24 May in Reepham Market Place and surrounding venues.

The Original Cottage Company will sponsor the closing supper and concert, while the Norfolk Farm Shop & Deli will again sponsor the cookery demonstrations.

Stalls are already booking to fill the market square and Bircham Centre garden, with new producers selling different types of food joining for the first time.

Reepham’s hostelries are also involved: the Dial House will host a special dinner with local produce on the Friday and the Kings Arms will be holding a beer festival on the Saturday with local beers and live music.

Once again there will be demonstrations of tips and techniques involving local chefs, stallholders and experts organised by Reepham WI.

Reepham’s schools will be involved with a Junior Masterchef competition, food science demonstrations and produce from the high school’s Allotment Project.

New this year will be a food and art trail on Saturday 23 May as the Reepham Food Festival coincides with the opening of Norfolk & Norwich Open Studios. Visitors can enjoy a trip to see local art and produce being made with plenty of opportunities for food and drink on the way.

The food festival will close with a community supper at Reepham High School using produce from stallholders and other local suppliers, together with music from students at the school. Tickets will be on sale from March via the website and at local venues.

The festival is organised by Reepham & District Rotary Club together with a growing number of other organisations and individuals. Volunteers are welcome through the festival website.
