Hit and run leaves cyclist bruised

Two cyclists were lucky to escape serious injury in Booton on Thursday 19 August when a motorist knocked one of them off his bike shortly after 6 pm.

The two men were near the village sign, heading away from Reepham, when the overtaking vehicle struck one of them. A female passenger swore at them before the vehicle sped off.
 
One bike was damaged and the rider left with cuts and bruises. Police were called.
 
Norfolk Constabulary is keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or was travelling in the area and may have dashcam footage.
