Mr Salisbury was landlord of the Kings Arms, Reepham, for some 25 years until 2018, and helped to set up the Reepham & Salle Cricket Club in 2001, where he became life-vice president.

Mr Salisbury continuously supported the cricket club and would always anonymously fund the latest project.

“Peter was a kind man, a good friend and a great landlord, and nothing was ever too much trouble”, said Reepham & Salle CC in a Facebook posting, and passed on condolences to Sita, Jan, Jo, Kerrie, Ryan and all Peter’s close family and friends.

A minute’s silence in honour of Mr Salisbury was held before the match on Saturday 17 July at Salle cricket ground.
