Barbell class at Aylsham Community Gym

Aylsham Community Gym has grown from a simple mobile gym to around 120 members. Members range in age from teenagers to octogenarians and we are proud of our inclusivity.

We offer a comprehensive gym facility, including classes of both high and low intensity. Whether it’s kettlebells or Pilates there’ll be something for you to achieve your fitness goals.

Qualified instructors assess members’ physical activity objectives and provide them with personal programmes. We take referrals from GPs via the Broadly Active programme and the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme. Our gym is focused on providing support for members’ social and physical well-being.

As well as a white-walled cardio area with treadmills, cross-trainers, bikes and rowers the gym has a free-weights areas and a specialist strength room. If strength training is for you, a power rack, full set of Olympic weights and a versatile cable machine are available.

We pride ourselves in keeping the gym clean, with both instructors and members playing their part. A pre-booking system restricts the number of members allowed into a session; members love this as it enables them to schedule their fitness for the week.

Perhaps you might not be ready to immerse yourself into the gym just yet, so some one-to-one personal training might be a good place to start: strength work, toning and even running coaching are all available at Aylsham Community Gym.

Why not book in now? If you are a Reepham resident, we are currently offering free joining. The gym is open at various times, six days of the week. Membership starts from £25 a month.
