Reepham will celebrate the day on Saturday 30 July: there will be a morning of family fun in the Bircham Centre garden between 10 am and 2 pm organised with Reepham Lions.

The plan is to provide games and activities for children, while offering refreshments for everyone.

The activities will be free of charge and every child will be offered a token for a free Ronaldo’s ice cream.

There will be hook-a-duck, Mad Marbles, hoopla and much more, as well as the chance to try out creative crafts and art in the Crafty Corner. There will also be goody bags from the Eastern Daily Press.

Reepham Lions president Ann Graham said: “We are repeating the format from last year, which was a huge success. Families could hardly believe that all the activities were free of charge, and many stayed with us for two hours or more.”

Bircham Centre manager Polly Brockis added: “Norfolk Day is a chance to celebrate our county – the people and the place – so gathering the community in the beautiful Bircham Garden is a perfect fit.

“Support from the National Lottery Community Fund allows us to get involved with these events and working with the Lions is always a joy. We expect another fabulous event.”
