The Bug Parc in Lenwade, the largest all-invertebrate zoo in the UK, won the Start Up Business award at the EDP Business Awards 2024.
 
The family-friendly attraction houses more than 200 different invertebrate species in three purpose-built heated display centres, featuring a variety of tropical insects, millipedes, crabs, snails, scorpions and spiders in natural habitats. There are also handling experiences available for some creatures.
 
Outside play attractions include a large jumping pillow, playground area and covered sandpit play area. There is also a dipping pond, pedal go-kart track and gift shop, while the themed café offers coffee, cake, snacks, breakfasts and main meals.
