The new sign has been designed to match the sign beside the door to the Bircham Centre, with brightly coloured lettering giving a welcoming feel.
The Bircham Centre team realised that many people were unaware of the beautiful garden hidden behind the building. A lot of work has gone into making this a peaceful and relaxing space for residents and visitors alike, and it is hoped the new sign will encourage more people to take advantage of this leafy haven.
The funding for the sign follows on from grants given to purchase the three benches in the gravel areas at the front of the Bircham Centre in Reepham’s Market Place.
The Lions have also funded a further bench in the walled garden as a memorial to former Lion John Vertigan, as well as a small birdbath in memory of former Lion Emma Rossetti.
The Lions welcome suggestions for other grants that will enhance the life of residents of Reepham and the surrounding area, and can be contacted by email.
