Slumber well with Reepham’s Big Sleep

Reepham residents are invited to jump into their pyjamas, grab their favourite teddy bear and head to St Michael’s on Saturday 10 October from 8.30 – 11.30 am for a free breakfast at The Big Sleep.

The Big Sleep, hosted in collaboration with Broadland District Council’s Grow Your Community project, Reepham Town Council, St Mary’s and Reepham Good Neighbour Scheme, will give residents advice on the importance of sleep in overall wellbeing, while inviting residents to enjoy a free breakfast served by the 2nd Reepham Scout Group.

The event, which will coincide with World Mental Health Day, will have representatives from a number of charities and organisations, including Mind and Reepham Surgery, who will be on hand to give some top tips on how to get a good night’s sleep.

Families will also be able to find out more about which foods can affect your mood and what to do to overcome fussy eating in children.

Residents are invited to attend the event in their favourite pyjamas and to share stories of their teddy bear with other local residents.

Face painting of a night-time theme will also be available for both children and adults to help promote the importance of sleep and well-being.
