Special needs family support group launched in Lyng

A new weekly support group for parents and carers of children with special educational needs and disability (SEND) is now running in Lyng.

The group has been set up by Norfolk-based charity SENsational Families, which has two parent support advisors and an active online forum, and runs a range of training at affordable prices. It already has a face-to-face support group that has been running in Norwich for more than two years.

The new group has been established with the help of lottery funding and is completely free for all parents and carers of children with SEND.

It meets at the Lyng & District Community Hall every Monday throughout school term time from 9.30 – 11.30 am, and is led by Emma Coe, one of the parent support advisors.
