This year’s festival on Sunday 22 August will feature 30 stalls in Reepham’s Market Place, along with local retailers, for a day of tasting, trying and enjoying locally produced food and drink. Entry is free from 10 am to 4 pm.
Local experts will be demonstrating cookery techniques, arranged by Reepham WI and sponsored by Norfolk Farm Shop & Deli.
Organised by Reepham & District Rotary Club with a number of other organisations and individuals, the festival promises to be a safe day out, with well-spaced stalls and a chance to meet and enjoy seeing neighbours in the fresh air and trying new ideas in food.
For the 2022 festival, provisionally set for Sunday 29 May, the Rotary Club hopes to return to a full programme of events, involving entertainment, schools and the farming community as well as local food producers.
“The support of the Co-op will be a great help in making this happen,” said a Rotary spokesperson.
The Co-op opened its convenience store in Station Road, Reepham, in November 2020.
