Joy cut a specially made cake while visitors, helpers and the entertainers for the day sang “Happy Birthday”.

The café, a Reepham & District Rotary Club project with the support of others in the community, has gained membership steadily since it was launched last year.

Meetings are held from 10 am to 12 noon at St Michael’s Reepham on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month.

The café offers a warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere with music, games and entertainment, together with tea, coffee and biscuits provided by the Co-op and volunteers.

In recent months, visitors have enjoyed seated Pilates, musical entertainment, a ukulele band and the chance to chat with others.

There is no membership, regular fees or any obligation to visit. Anyone with a need can turn up on the day and be assured of a warm welcome.
