It has been confirmed that the Old Brewery House Hotel in Reepham is to close in August.
A spokesperson for Oxford Hotels & Inns Management said lack of trade is the main reason for the closure of the listed building, which is a key feature of the town’s Market Place.
The hotel, which includes a bar, restaurant and 23 bedrooms, is understood to be operating at a loss and would require a considerable investment for refurbishment.
However, it is also believed that several people could be interested in buying the property from a related firm to Oxford Hotels & Inns, which is the lessee/management company.
