Reepham Town Council has reassured residents that the pound railings (near the church) have not been stolen.
They were removed on Tuesday 3 September by the blacksmith who is going to refurbish and/or replace the railings.
The wall underneath is expected to be restored at the end of September and the railings replaced as soon as possible afterwards.
