Market Place road closure

The Market Place will be closed to traffic on Thursday, 5 December due to the Festival of Light event. The closure will start at 1 pm to approximately 10 pm (or earlier depending on how long it takes to clear and clean) between Church Hill and Townsend Corner.
We would be particularly grateful if residents living in and around the market place, as well as other users, could move their vehicles by 1 pm.

Community theatre group closes

A community-based theatre group closed earlier this year after 16 years of performing a total of 31 shows.

CATS, the Community Amateur Theatrical Society, started in Cawston and had been based in Foulsham since 2017.

The group was started by Liz Beard, Beryl Thomas and a group of local young people, and ended with 30 members.

A spokesperson said the decision to close CATS was due to health and family commitments.
