Road closure on Norwich Road

The C260 Norwich Road from its junction with C260 Church Hill to its junction with U51186 Bircham Road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 28th October 2013 to 8th November 2013 because of repair and decoration work to roadside elevation of Victoria House.
 
Alternative route is via: C260 Church Hill/Market Place, B1145 Station Road, C260 New Road/The Moor/Norwich Road and vice versa.

RALGA Coffee Morning - Wednesday 6 November 10 am - 1 pm

Come along to the RALGA Coffee Morning at 4 Birchams Yard between 1 0am and 1 pm, hosted by Sue and John Gilbert.
 
There will be samples of Christmas cards, wrapping paper etc, which you can order from Phoenix catalogues (with 10% of the orders going to RALGA's allotment funds) and second hand books for sale.
 
Please note there is no parking in Bircham Yard.
 

Reepham late night shopping and Halloween treasure hunt

Reepham Chamber of Commerce has organised a late night shopping event and Halloween treasure hunt on Wednesday 30 October.
 
Come and join in the fun – shops and eateries around the Market Place in Reepham will be open until 8 pm.
 
There will be lots of fabulous food available, as well as special offers and spooky treats. A highlight will be a children's Halloween trail – collect all the clues and claim your prize.
 

Exhibition on potential housing site off Broomhill Lane

An information display regarding the proposed housing development site off Broomhill Lane will be held at Reepham High School on 11 November from 4.45 pm to 6.45 pm.
 
This 12.5-hectare site includes a concept to build an undetermined number of new homes on 4 hectares of the site, while on the remaining 8.5 hectares it is proposed to build a new sports hall for Reepham High School, along with improvements to the management of school traffic and the extension and enhancement of school grounds.
 

Tennis Club free taster sessions – half-term and Saturday mornings

We're pleased to announce that the tennis club is offering free tennis taster sessions every morning during half-term for juniors and teenagers and every Saturday morning, for 5-weeks, for adults.
 
These sessions have been funded by the Norfolk LTA and we would encourage anyone who wants to try tennis to come along and have a go. We can even provide equipment if you don't own any.

Drop in to see Reepham Life on Saturday 19 October

Reepham Life will be holding a drop-in session from 10 am – 12 noon on Saturday 19 October in the downstairs “gallery room” of the Bircham Centre, Market Place, Reepham.
 
You can talk to someone about submitting news, community information, photos or an article; discuss advertising in the newspaper or on the website; or becoming involved in any aspect of local publishing.

Broadland Older People’s Partnership community event

The Broadland Older People’s Partnership (BOPP) will hold a community event on Thursday 17 October at the Town Hall, Church Street, Reepham, 9.30 am for tea/coffee 10 am start.

Sadly as you know by now the WI Quiz has been cancelled, but we will be back and next time better than ever!
 
Our next meeting on Thursday 17th October will include a talk by Derek Player on the work of St Martin's Housing Trust. We shall not be making a tea/coffee etc. collection for 4Women that evening, but hope we will be able to give some support to the Housing Trust in the near future.
 
Our Annual General Meeting will take place on Thursday 21st November. Remember this is your chance to vote in your new Committee and Officers.
