With all money now collected, September’s Reepham Classic Car Festival raised a total of £1,160.87 for the East Anglian Air Ambulance charity – a huge increase from last year.
 
Organisers Hugh Ivins and Stephen Capel especially thanked John Tym for donating a framed picture of the air ambulance, which raised £280.
 

Reepham Lions are once again organising the annual Christmas Tree Festival in St Mary’s Reepham from Wednesday 4 December – Sunday 8 December.
 
The festival will be open from 10 am – 4.30 pm from Wednesday–Saturday and from 12 noon to 7.30 pm on Sunday, when Village Voices community choir will entertain visitors with Christmas carols and songs from 3–4 pm on that day, which coincides with the Christmas in Reepham event.
 

A bid to create a traveller site on a plot of land on the southern side of Reepham Road near Bawdeswell has been refused by Breckland Council planners.
 
The applicant proposed the site be used for a single gypsy traveller pitch, which would include a static caravan, a touring caravan and a dayroom.

Martin French, the owner of the UK’s largest insect zoo, is crowdfunding to create a conservation area at the site.
 
The Bug Parc opened in 2022 on Nowhere Lane, Lenwade, which was previously the home of Norfolk Wildlife Park.
 
The popular attraction is hoping to raise £5,000 towards creating a free-to-visit conservation area in part of the car park through a Crowdfunder campaign.
