Centre manager Polly Brockis said: “The award of £9,950 is to help us recover and reengage. We are very grateful to the National Lottery and all the lottery players out there. Monies raised and gifted through Awards for All will help the centre continue and thrive.

“Funds have been allocated to allow development of the garden. Through lockdowns we learnt how important the green space of the Bircham Garden is to the community.

“We are excited to now be in a position where we can plan outdoor events through the summer to help bring the community together again.”

Monies will also be used to refresh the hallway, fix the old floorboards and update the noticeboards, which will provide a more welcoming and informative entry to the building in Market Place, Reepham.

Details of future events will be posted on Reepham Life as well as the Bircham Centre website and Facebook pages as they are arranged.
