Good neighbour scheme in danger of closing
The future of the Reepham Good Neighbour Scheme (RGNS) is in doubt and will be the main item of discussion at the scheme’s annual general meeting in April.
As the town grows, even more so with the recently announced news of the expansion of the Ash Tree Care Village development off Stony Lane, the RGNS is struggling to deliver a service with the small number of active volunteers and and people to manage the helpline.
The scheme desperately need more volunteers, otherwise it will be forced to close.
