The coffee morning held on Friday 26 September proved to be an enormous success for Pauline Cooper, who has worked hard over the past ten years supporting Macmillan Cancer Support.
Together with her loyal band of helpers, she raised £1,050, bringing the total amount she has raised to more than £4,500.
A quilt, made by members of the Busy Fingers Craft Group, was raffled and raised £520, almost half of the total for the morning.
Busy Fingers thanked everyone who purchased raffle tickets and announced that the winner was Judith Rollestone, formerly resident at The Fisheries, but now living in North Elmham. The winning ticket was drawn by Guppy Kular, the pharmacist from Mott’s Pharmacy, Reepham.
Mrs Rollestone was presented with the quilt by Rosina Harman, who designed and organised the project for the members of Busy Fingers.
