For the first time there will be a mushroom farm, along with a returning cheese merchant, new gins and more bakers of cakes, according to the event organisers.

The town’s Market Place will be closed for the day with around 30 food and drink stalls, where hot food, luscious cakes and interesting tipples will make for an entertaining visit and a fun day out for all the family – and it’s free.

There will be plenty of space in the square and the Bircham Centre garden to sit and enjoy purchases and lots of goodies to take home for your store cupboard.

All the stallholders are local producers showing the best produce from the region and the skills and hard work of local suppliers.

The town’s cafés and pubs, as well as some shops, will be open, and there will be music performances by students from Reepham High School.

The food festival is organised by a team from Reepham & District Rotary Club with help from many others.

Free parking will be available at Reepham High School on Whitwell Road and Stimpson’s Piece off Bartle Court.
