Reepham Life understands that several long-serving town councillors including the chairman, Paul Mitchell, have resigned from Reepham Town Council.
 
This follows a decision made at last Wednesday’s town council meeting to replace the skate park at Stimpson’s Piece at a likely cost of £175,000 with a “significant contribution of local taxpayers’ money” but “without a sufficiently wide consultation with the Reepham community”, according to Mr Mitchell.

Nurse Winifred “Winnie” Rogers passed away at home in Reepham on Monday 26 August after a long illness.
 
At 1 pm on Tuesday 24 September Winnie will make a final visit to Reepham Market Place before being driven to her private funeral at St Faith’s Crematorium.
 
There will be a public thanksgiving service at St Mary’s Reepham at 3 pm to which everyone is welcome.
 
Afterwards everyone is welcome to join the family at the King’s Arms in Reepham – one of Winnie's favourite places.
