Gallery holds competition to name our Tour of Britain gorilla

If you are aged between 5 and 11 years old, and live in the Reepham area, you can enter a competition to name our Tour of Britain Gorilla.

The prize is a takeaway pizza meal for a family of up to six people from Whitwell Station (courtesy of Reepham Life and Rushlight Gallery).

Painted in a Tour of Britain-themed cycling jersey by local artist Mik Richardson, the animal is one of two baby GoGo Gorillas placed in the market places in Reepham and Aylsham, where they will remain until after the cycle race passes through on Saturday 12 September.

To enter the competition, write your suggested gorilla name on a piece of paper together with your name, age, contact telephone number or email address and leave it at Rushlight Gallery in Market Place, Reepham (or post it through the letterbox if the gallery is closed).

Or you can email your suggested name and contact details as above to rushlightgallery@btinternet.com

Entries must be received by 5 pm Wednesday 19 August. The winner will be notified the next day.
