For an annual fee of £250 the club will produce and install a 3 x 1 metre mesh banner that will be displayed at the club for the duration of the sponsorship term (one year).

Banners will be installed on either side of the tennis club fence and will be visible day and night to all court users, including club members and visiting Norfolk teams, as well as users of the recreation ground and visitors to Reepham.

The club can use artwork supplied or a design service can be provided for a small additional fee (£50).

Situated on Stimpson’s Piece, Reepham Tennis Club was opened in 2012. The refurbishment of two tennis courts, new seating area and clubhouse was made possible by funding from Sport England’s Inspired Facilities fund (part of the Places People Play 2012 legacy programme) and a Broadland District Council Community Grant.

The club currently has 140 members, with two women’s and two men’s teams that compete in the Norwich City League and the North Norfolk Mixed Winter League.

Various social events and open days are organised throughout the year, and local coaching provider National Tennis Association has created a vibrant junior coaching programme.

Reepham Tennis Club is funded through membership fees and run by a small committee of volunteers. These funds cover the annual operating costs and planned regular maintenance, but are not sufficient to cover longer-term capital expenditure projects, such as resurfacing or upgrading/replacing other facilities.

For example, the asphalt courts are wearing well after 10 years, but typically they will need replacing every 12–15 years.

The club recently made a significant investment, using existing club funds, to upgrade the failing halogen floodlights to a new LED system.

However, this has depleted the club’s reserves and it is now looking for new ways to raise funds to maintain the facilities for the benefit of the local community for the future.
