Owner Duncan Smith is often asked by guests, “Where does the furniture in the tents come from?”. “I make it myself,” is the answer, followed by “Is it for sale?”

So, he decided to make and sell a small range of industrial-style coffee tables.

Each table is handcrafted from carefully selected reclaimed timber, with tops finished in the best quality wax, and ends painted in Farrow & Ball paint – and each is “unique and perfectly imperfect”, said Mr Smith.

The tables are crafted in his Swannington workshop, which can be contacted by email or telephone 07879 481467 for information on sizes and costs.
