Cancer research charity funday in memory of former bus driver

Reepham resident Allison Wise and family are holding a charity funday in aid of Cancer Research UK in memory of her husband and former bus driver Martin Wise, who died of lung cancer last October aged 56 after 18 months of chemotherapy.

The event will be held at Garvestone & Thuxton Village Hall, Dereham Road, Garvestone, on Sunday 23 July from 12 noon – 4 pm.
 
There will be a number of stalls, including a raffle, tombola, children’s tombola, craft stalls, a cake stall, hot dogs, ice cream, a bar, and teas and coffee, as well as live music from 12 noon – 2 pm and children’s entertainment from 2–3 pm.
 
Donations are sought for the raffle, tombola and cake stall, and draw tickets are available for £1 each or £5 per book.
