Epic jigsaw project comes to a close

The last pieces of the world’s biggest jigsaw puzzle will be put in place at around 8.15 pm on Wednesday 31 August at Stimpson’s Piece pavilion, Bartle Court, Reepham.

Called “Wildlife”, the jigsaw has 33,600 pieces and measures 6.5 m wide by 1.57 m high.

Graham Andrew of Funforce organised teams of volunteers to complete the puzzle over several days this month as part of the Big Jig Gig.

The finished jungle scene will be displayed at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital.

Drivers are requested to take extra care near the church, particularly on 17 August, as that is a market day, also by the cemetery entrance in Whitwell Road.
