A care home in Cawston is set to close after only six months owing to concerns over the quality of service.
 
Cawston Lodge, in Paul Engelhard Way, opened in May with rooms for 36 residents.
 
However, Norfolk County Council said it had terminated its contract with JNS Care Holdings, which operates the facility.

A community-based theatre group closed earlier this year after 16 years of performing a total of 31 shows.
 
CATS, the Community Amateur Theatrical Society, started in Cawston and had been based in Foulsham since 2017.
 
The group was started by Liz Beard, Beryl Thomas and a group of local young people, and ended with 30 members.
 
A spokesperson said the decision to close CATS was due to health and family commitments.
