Mr Mortimer, who works as an apprentice at Panther Brewery in Reepham, attended the nursery school, primary school and high school in the town, and completed his A Levels at the City of Norwich School (CNS) Sixth Form.
 
He said he joined the Town Council to “freshen things up, provide a different opinion and specifically help local businesses”.
