A consultation on plans for 12 Gypsy and traveller sites across Norwich and the surrounding area has been extended by a week. The consultation will now close on Monday 20 March.
 
Ten favoured Gypsy and traveller sites, as well as two backup areas, have been put forward as part of the Greater Norwich Local Plan (GNLP).
 
At least 53 travellers’ pitches are needed as part of the GNLP, which is a blueprint for housing development in the city and its outskirts over the next 15 years.
 
In the Reepham district, the proposed sites include four pitches at Buxton Road, Cawston, and 10 pitches at The Oaks, south-east of Letter Box Cottage, Reepham Road, Foulsham.
