Smugglers Lane works finished

NCC Highways have given us prior notification of closure of Smugglers Lane, Reepham, for five days from 29 March. Access to the surgery will be maintained from the Dereham Road end.

However, a resident informs us that the road closure has already taken place and it is understood the work is now complete – the signs placed in advance apparently showed the wrong dates.

Restrictions on charity shop donations

The Bircham Centre Charity Shop has placed some restrictions on what items it can accept as donations.

To conform with health and safety regulations, and for the safety of the volunteers who run the shop, the Bircham Centre is now unable to take the following items: cycle helmets or helmets of any type; cots and prams; walking frames; highchairs; car seats; electrical goods; videos; encyclopaedias; magazines; and artificial Christmas trees.

Photographic club welcomes new members

The club holds themed photographic competitions, tuition workshops, and days or evenings out and about Norfolk; it is affiliated to the East Anglian Federation of Photographic Societies.

Station Road closure

NCC have informed us that Station Road, Reepham is to be closed from 15th-26th February, for electrical works. The closure will only affect the section from Townsend Crossroads to the car park entrance - what is locally known as the Gorge or Canyon. We presume diversions will be signposted.
