Reepham Society talk by Norfolk Medieval Graffiti Survey director

Everyone is invited to a presentation by Matthew Champion, director of the award-winning Norfolk Medieval Graffiti Survey, in Reepham Town Hall on Tuesday 10 November. Refreshments will be available from 7.15 pm and the talk is due to begin at 7.30 pm and will last about one hour. Entry is free to Reepham Society members and £3 on the door to non-members.

Graffiti is probably the oldest recorded vernacular expression of thought and emotion that is still very much alive today and always will be while lovers carve hearts on trees, pupils deface their desks and political slogans, whether subversive or supportive are scrawled on walls. Our medieval Norfolk predecessors were up there with the best (or worst) so come along and enjoy what will be an amusing and informative evening.
