Police have released CCTV footage following a serious assault after a collision in Corpusty.
 
The incident happened on Monday 29 January shortly before 11 am when a blue Mitsubishi and a Volkswagen hatchback collided on The Street.
 
Both drivers exited their vehicles and had a brief conversation, before the driver of the hatchback assaulted the driver of the Mitsubishi.
 
The driver of the hatchback is described as a white man, of a slim build, with a brown and grey beard, and long brown hair in a pony tail. He was wearing light blue jeans and a green and brown fur-lined coat.
 
After the assault he left the scene in the Volkswagen which is described as an older-style red three-door. It is believed there would be damage to the front of the vehicle.
 
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may recognise the vehicle or who may know the driver, also to any workshops/garages that may recognise the description of the Volkswagen.
