In a recent incident, the public conveniences in Pudding Pie Alley were badly damaged on Saturday 10 September between 7.10 am and 11.30 am.

According to Reepham Town Council, toilet rolls were put down the women’s toilet and pipes were ripped from the cisterns in the men’s toilet causing serious water leaks and flooding of the toilets.

“Whoever did this must have been soaked with water,” said a council spokesperson.

The toilets were then repaired and reopened on Friday 16 September, but were vandalised again today (Saturday 17 September) between 7 am and 2 pm in a repeat of last Saturday’s damage.

The toilets will remain locked for the foreseeable future.

If anyone has any information about these incidents, which have recently occurred mostly on weekends, particularly on Saturday, please telephone 101 or leave a message in confidence with the town clerk on 01603 873355 or email.

The town council is currently investigating the installation of CCTV in the area of the toilets.
